The model stands out due to its tachymetric bezel, which allows for measurement of average speeds of up to 400 miles or kilometres per hour. Combining advanced tech with stylish aesthetics, the black bezel harkens back to the 1965 version that featured a black Plexiglas insert.
The Cerachrom bezel, made of high-tech ceramic, is resistant to corrosion and almost impossible to scratch. Its color remains unchanged by UV rays. This durable bezel also has a highly readable tachymetric scale, thanks to the application of a thin layer of platinum on the numerals and graduation through PVD. The bezel is one piece and securely holds the crystal in place on the middle case, ensuring the watch is waterproof.
